⚠ Common Disallowed-Cost Pitfalls

  • Reporting: Loss of eligibility for JobsOhio funds or services, repayment of disbursed funds, or increased interest rates on JobsOhio loans
  • Ongoing Eligibility: Project may be ineligible for funding if job creation does not commence within the negotiated period
  • Financial & Cost Eligibility: Funds expire and are forfeited if reimbursement request is not timely submitted
  • Financial & Cost Eligibility: Reimbursement denied if supporting documentation is not provided
  • Environmental: Environmental remediation costs may not be eligible for reimbursement without required documentation

Reporting

    A No Further Action letter issued by an Ohio Certified Professional is typically required for projects where long-term engineering controls are necessary on the site.
